West Pennsboro Township Veteran’s Memorial
The West Pennsboro Township Recreation Advisory Council is pleased to announce that construction of the Veterans Memorial at West Pennsboro Township Park is on course and continues to move forward! A dedication ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM.The Veteran’s Memorial at West Pennsboro Township Park has been funded solely through monetary, labor and material donations as well as the sale of memorial bricks. These donations have kept project expenses to a minimum. Memorial bricks are still available for purchase. You can obtain a brick application at the Township Building or on the Township website at www.westpennsborotwp.org.
The Recreation Advisory Board is now meeting twice a month until the dedication ceremony on October 1. If you are interested in helping with the construction or coordination of ceremony events, please plan to attend a meeting. All meetings dates are posted on the Township website.
The West Pennsboro Township Recreation Advisory Council is proud to have a monument built in West Pennsboro Township that will remember and honor all men and women who served and are currently serving our country.
